Changelog

What we shipped, fixed, and improved. Updated as we build.

Feature

Free decay audit, in your inbox in 5 minutes

  • +Anyone can connect Search Console at /free-audit and get a one-shot decay report covering the last 6 months. No credit card, no signup, no newsletter trap.
  • +The report compares the last 6 months against the prior 6, ranks the 5 pages losing the most clicks, and labels each one with a diagnosis (algorithm update, AI Overview suspected, intent shift, CTR drop).
  • +Want it delivered every week with seasonal noise filtered out? The email links straight to the founding plan.

Improvement

The weekly report turned into a real email

  • +Rebuilt the weekly report in HTML. You now get colored diagnosis badges, per-page revenue estimates when you set an RPM, and a button into the full report.
  • +Plain-text version still ships for clients that strip HTML, so nothing breaks on Outlook or text-only readers.
Feature

Rank decay pages by revenue, not just clicks

  • +If you set an RPM for your site, the ranking now uses estimated monthly revenue lost as the primary signal. A page losing a handful of valuable clicks beats a page losing many low-value ones.
  • +Sites without an RPM keep the click-based ranking. Nothing changes if you have not set one yet.
Feature

Weekly decay report works end to end

  • +The full pipeline runs: pull the last 30 days from Search Console, compare to the prior 30 and to the same window one year ago to filter seasonal patterns, rank the top 5 pages losing real traffic, and send the email.
  • +Each page in the email comes with its diagnosis attached, so you can tell at a glance whether the drop needs a content rewrite, a title change, or just patience.
  • +Early testers can connect a Search Console property and trigger a test report from the internal dashboard. Onboarding for waitlist members opens once the recurring weekly send is wired up.
Feature

Google login and the diagnosis engine are live

  • +Sign in with Google and connect your Search Console in one click. We only read performance data, never write or change anything in your account.
  • +Built the diagnosis engine that classifies what is dragging each page down: algorithm update, AI Overview suspected, intent shift, or CTR drop. The label tells you what to do instead of leaving you guessing.
Improvement

Waitlist while the MVP gets built

  • +The founding member offer is still available, just no longer the front door. If you want in now, email javi@decayradar.com or DM on X and we will share the link.
  • +Pricing section now shows planned launch prices for reference, with the early-bird discount reserved for waitlist members.
Improvement

Building in public on X

  • +Started a dedicated X account (@decayradar) to share findings from real site analyses, MVP progress, and what we are learning along the way.

Feature

Blog

  • +Added a blog with guides on content decay, SEO, and organic traffic. First post: "Content decay: the revenue cost of finding it too late".

Improvement

Founding plan is open

  • +Opened the founding plan. 10 spots at $29/mo, locked for the life of your subscription. Founding members get Pro-level features (GSC + GA4 revenue scoring) at Starter price.
  • +Restructured the landing to lead with the founding offer instead of the waitlist. If you are ready to commit, there is a direct checkout. If you are not, the waitlist still takes email signups for launch updates.
  • +Added an FAQ covering the MVP timeline, refunds, cancellation, and how DecayRadar differs from SEOTesting and SEO Gets.
  • +Added a refund policy. Cancel anytime. If the product never ships, full refund, no fine print.
Improvement

Repositioned around automated alerting, and added AI Impact detection

  • +Added automatic weekly email alerts. You still have a dashboard to dig into the details, but now DecayRadar tells you when to look instead of waiting for you to remember.
  • +Added AI Impact as a new decay label: when impressions hold but clicks collapse, that is not a content problem. It is an AI Overview eating your traffic. That deserves its own signal.
  • +Expanded plan limits based on early feedback: Starter now covers up to 3 sites, Pro up to 5, Agency is unlimited.
  • +Switched to early adopter pricing: join now and lock in your rate forever. Price goes up at public launch.
Feature

Light and dark mode

  • +Added a theme toggle in the nav. Follows your system preference by default, but you can override it.
Launch

Waitlist is open

  • +DecayRadar is live. If you manage a site with 100+ pages and track content performance, this is for you.
  • +Join the waitlist to get early access and lock in the founding member price.
